Where the science of psychology meets the depth of your story

Evidence-based care, shaped by warmth, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the whole person.

There is always more to the story.

Maybe you know exactly what’s been weighing on you. Maybe it’s harder to name.

A mind that won’t switch off. An exhaustion that sleep can’t fix. Feeling everything deeply - or struggling to feel much at all. Being endlessly hard on yourself. Anticipating what might go wrong. Putting everyone else first, then wondering where you went. Wanting closeness, but pulling away when it arrives. Understanding your patterns, yet still finding yourself caught in them.

These experiences rarely appear out of nowhere. They develop within a life.

We are shaped by what we have lived through - our relationships, environments, experiences, and the ways we have learned to cope, adapt, and protect ourselves.

Our patterns often begin as protection. They don’t always know when their job is done.

At Psyche, we’re interested in the fuller picture - your thoughts and emotions, relationships and attachment experiences, body and nervous system, and the past experiences and present circumstances that have shaped you.

What feels confusing about yourself can make much more sense when you understand the story behind it - where your patterns came from, what they may have once done for you, and what keeps them going now.

From there, we can begin to explore what you want the next part of your story to look like.

Support, shaped around you.

At Psyche, there are two approaches to psychological support, each offering something different.

I created Psyche Clinical Psychology as a space to slow down, feel heard, and understand yourself more deeply.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I’ve always been curious about people - the experiences that shape us, the patterns we return to, and the ways we learn to navigate life’s challenges.

I don’t believe that therapy needs to feel overly clinical, or that every struggle needs to be understood as a diagnosis or something to “fix.” Sometimes, understanding why we are the way we are, in the context of what we’ve lived through, can change the way we relate to ourselves entirely.

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Therapy can be meaningful and challenging, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. You can expect curiosity, honesty, thoughtful conversations, and room for humour along the way.

More than the mind.

Rooted in ancient Greek, the word Psyche (ψυχή) traditionally refers to the soul, spirit, or life essence of a person. In Greek philosophy, the psyche represented more than simply the mind; it reflected the fullness of human experience - our thoughts, emotions, desires, identity, and sense of self.

This understanding inspired Psyche Clinical Psychology.

At Psyche, psychological science provides the foundation, while your experiences, individuality, and story shape the work we do together.

  • Therapy, wherever you are

Psyche is a telehealth clinical psychology practice, offering individual and group therapy to adults across Australia.

For some, telehealth means accessing therapy from somewhere familiar. For others, it means one less commute in an already full day. And for those outside metropolitan areas, it can make psychological support easier to access.

Getting Started

Send through an enquiry about what brings you to therapy and what you're hoping to gain. This gives us an opportunity to consider whether my approach aligns with your needs before arranging an initial appointment.

1 — Get in Touch

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another, explore what's been happening for you, and discuss what you'd like to work towards. There's no expectation to have everything figured out beforehand.

2 — Your first session

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. As I get to know you and your story, we’ll work out together what feels most helpful. The work will be guided by psychological evidence, and shaped around your needs, goals, and what matters to you.

3 — We build from there
